Contacting Your Lawyer
HomesLawyer.com can review your Agreement of Purchase and Sale (“APS”) for you before you finalize it. However, if APS has been signed by all parties, all changes have been initialed, and all conditions (e.g. financing, home inspection, etc.) have been satisfied or waived, your APS is “firm” and a legally binding contract. At that point, each party must fulfill their obligations, and no changes can be made unless both parties agree in writing.
You should fax, mail or personally deliver your APS to HomesLawyer.com as soon as possible, or ask your agent to do it. After we receive your APS, we will contact you to confirm that you wish to retain our services in the transaction. Please note that we will require copies of the following documents to help expedite the legal processing of your transaction:
